The new Subaru Forester is an awesome crossover vehicle combining the best attributes of an SUV and dynamic car. It gives you the experience of a life time with wonderful ride and driving dynamics. The new machine comes in 5 different variants, they are Sports 2.5X, 2.5X, 2.5X L.L. Bean edition, 2.5 XT Limited, 2.5 XT. Three of these 5 utility variants offers you 173 horsepower with 2.5 liter 4 cylinder engine. The other models like sports 2.5 XT and a 2.5 XT Limited offer a whopping 224 horsepower turbocharged with 2.5 liter horizontally opposed 4 cylinder. The safety feature of the new model has dual stage front airbags, front active head restraints, side impact airbags and antilock brake having electronic brake force distribution system.

The new version from Subaru is a redesigned version of its earlier model, the Forester crossover has new front and rear end facilities, it also has a powertrain and more upgrades than its earlier 2006 models. The redesign is a slight altered version of its earlier models. the 2006 and 2007 models had thebase 2.5 X model’s 2.5 liter, boxer with 4 cylinder engine boasting I-Active Valve Lift system resulting power boosting up to 173 horsepower. The limited 2.5 T limited version has the turbo charged 2.5 liter, 4 cylinder engine producing 224 horsepower with 226 lb-ft of torque. The powerplants feature Electronic Throttle Control helping optimize engine response, emissions control and fuel efficiency.

Both the engines have 4 and 5 speed automatic gearboxes; they have been improved giving better performance than its earlier models. The 4 speed version has an adaptive control shift system which has an automatic normal and sporting shift mode which responds to the driver’s throttle input. The new model also has Variable Torque Distribution all-wheel drive system which is a standard feature having good stability and traction control.

The new machine provides new improved revised suspension control which offers good better handling and provides smooth ride. The vehicle offers a good ground clearance which has been slightly raised to pre 2006 versions. The safety features includes anti-lock brakes with front side airbags helping during accidents. The brand new upscale L.L. Bean series gives two tone exteriors, with leather seating arrangements and a self leveling rear suspension and also a MOMO wood and leather wrapped steering wheel facility helping in easy drive.

The new machine’s Sports 2.5 X series boosts of having a 6 spoke wheels giving you a comfortable, smooth ride. it also provides a leather parking brake and shifter wraps giving you an easy control while riding. The 2.5 XT model is a roof spoiler and rides on 17 inch wheels, it also has an upgraded audio system which are standard in all of its base Foresters.
