The new Sequoia gets bigger and better!

The new 2008 Toyota Sequoia is a full size SUV arriving in the markets later this year. Its attractive with new body, interiors and chassis never found before in previous models. the chief engineer at the plant, Motoharu Araya has tried to deliver the best possible feature of an SUV. Staying with an American family for a year or two gave him an insight to the American style of living, he came to know their tastes about the cars, the features they look for, etc. he tried the best to give a car which gave them comfort and style that was more stable than any other vehicle in the same class.

According to the sources at Toyota, the vehicle is one of the best and excellent in terms of fuel efficiency and low levels of emissions. The new vehicle is 5.7 liter V-8 engine having a 6 speed transmission; it produces 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque. The new machine has been redesigned to provide more room and also a cabin which is long, wide and much taller than the earlier Sequoia.

With the new machine, now you can stack up more groceries at the back with bigger machine comes bigger shopping, use the space as much as you can. The 2nd and 3rd row seats are folded flat which would give you more space. The machine also provides you with an 8th speaker audio system, a standard feature in all the versions, this could be upgraded to 660 watt JBL Synthesis system having 14 speakers placed at different points of the vehicle. The base model of the new Toyota Sequoia has 4.7 liter V-8 standard engine which rides on 18 inches wheel, the wheels are also available with 20 inch. The huge machine can tow 10,000 pounds capacity.

The new Sequoia has seen tremendous changes in terms of style and comfort compared to previous models, its improved and is bound to become the favorite amongst the people. The new machine has got a rear suspension which replaces the earlier rear axle and steering. The new wagon is capable of 39 foot turning diameter making it more flexible and similar in lines of Chevy Tahoe and GMC Yukon.
